I’m so pleased you’re here. If you’re planning your big day, then you are in the right place. As your celebrant, I cherish the opportunity to create a wonderful and meaningful ceremony just for you. Of course, I will do the paperwork, that’s the boring bit. The best bit is the declaration you make to each other that embraces your love and your story together. It’s that declaration on which you build your life and raise your family. It’s my goal to make that moment beautiful and special. I will guide you through everything you need to know and create a ceremony that is just right for you.
I’m here to help you navigate what can sometimes be tough terrain, and at the same time, create amazing, life and love affirming ceremonies that celebrate you and the love you share.

What you can expect from me?
If we work together to create a beautiful ceremony for you, here’s what you can rely on from me:
Ceremony just for you
None of this choose one from a list stuff. I create your ceremony just for you. My ceremonies are scripted in a way that suits you and is exactly in line with your values and style.
Rehersal
Its important to get together in the week before your ceremony so we can run through who does what, who says what when, etc. Trust me, this helps.
Contact when you need it.
As a minimum we will get together for our initial meeting and a rehearsal. But, I want to make sure this works well for you, so we can meet up more if needed, and you can always call email or message me. Im happy to answer any questions you have whenever you have them.
I'll be there as long as you need
On your big day I’ll get there early and leave when we are done. I don’t book multiple ceremonies on one day, so my attention is all on you!

About Me
I have been I’ve been enamoured with ceremony and ritual my whole life. I wanted to be a celebrant when I was in high school. I have led a wide range of ceremonies for all sorts of transitions throughout our life, from birth to death.
For years, I have been working under Married by Marlene and Same Sex Marriage. I started Same Sex Marriage Brisbane a long time ago offering couples ceremonies and rituals that celebrated our queer and non-traditional families. Now, I’ve combined everything here for ease of access, but I’ve kept some key information and guides for same sex couples because while its true we all have the same rights, the same access to traditions and rituals of marriage, I think there are some unique things we have to think about when we decide to marry and publicly declare our love and commitment to friends and family.
